- Communication (contact inquiries, organizational event communication)
- Ticketing and event management (ticket purchase, payment processing, participant administration, admission control, invoicing)
- Newsletter and direct communication (registration, distribution, performance analysis, unsubscription)
- Web analytics and optimization (in particular via Google Analytics)
- Legal enforcement and compliance (e.g. assertion or defense of claims)
Depending on usage, the following categories of personal data may be processed:
- Master data (first name, last name)
- Contact data (email address, telephone number)
- Booking/transaction data (ticket category, billing data, payment status; payment data is generally processed by the payment service provider)
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer, timestamps, click paths)
- Communication content (contact forms/emails)
3. Legal Basis (revFADP)
Depending on the context, processing is based in particular on:
- The necessity for entering into or performing a contract (e.g. ticket purchase, event organization)
- Our overriding legitimate interests (e.g. secure website operation, optimization, fraud prevention)
- Your consent, where required (e.g. newsletter subscription, certain cookies/tracking tools depending on consent setup)
4. Hosting and Server Log Files
Our website is hosted by a hosting provider. When accessing the website, technical data may be recorded in server log files
(e.g. IP address, date/time, accessed pages, browser information).
Purpose: Technical provision, system stability, security, and error analysis.
Retention period: Generally only as long as necessary for operation, security, and analysis, unless longer
retention is required for security or evidentiary purposes.
5. Cookies and Consent Management
We use cookies and similar technologies. These may be technically necessary or used for analytics/marketing purposes.
Where a cookie consent tool is implemented, you may adjust your settings at any time via the relevant cookie preferences.
Please note: You may also restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings. This may limit website functionality.
6. Web Analytics with Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland)
and, depending on data flow, affiliated companies (e.g. Google LLC, USA).
Purpose: Analysis of website usage, generation of reports, and improvement of content, performance, and user experience.
Typical data processed:
- Interaction data (page views, events, clicks)
- Device/browser information
- Approximate location data (derived)
- IP address (generally shortened by Google or processed only as technically necessary; GA4 is event-based rather than relying on traditional IP logs)
International data transfers: Data may be transferred to the United States or other countries. Such countries may not provide a level of
data protection equivalent to Switzerland. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. contractual guarantees/standard contractual clauses)
and additional protective measures where available.
Consent and withdrawal: Google Analytics is only activated after your consent via the cookie banner, where technically implemented.
You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
7. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and, where provided, your first and last name.
Purpose: Distribution of event information, program updates, ticketing details, and related content.
Double opt-in: Where implemented, you will receive a confirmation email after registration.
The newsletter may be sent via a service provider acting as a data processor.
Performance measurement: Depending on the tool used, newsletters may include performance analysis (e.g. open and click rates)
to optimize content.
Unsubscription: You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting
info@ai-creator-day.ch.
8. Ticketing Tools and Payment Processing
For ticket purchases and event administration, we may use a ticketing system. Depending on the provider, the following personal data may be processed:
name, email address, ticket details, billing data, check-in/admission status.
Purpose: Contract performance (ticket sales), payment and invoicing processes, participant management, admission control, and support.
Payments are generally processed via a payment service provider. Payment data is typically processed directly by the payment provider; we usually receive
only status and reference information.
Retention period: Booking and billing data are retained in accordance with statutory retention obligations
(typically up to 10 years depending on the nature of the documents). Participant and check-in data are retained only as long as necessary for the
organization and follow-up of the event, unless legal obligations require longer retention.

If you contact us, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) in order to respond to your inquiry.

Where third parties process data on our behalf, this is carried out under contractual data processing agreements.
11. International Data Transfers
Personal data may be processed outside Switzerland, particularly via Google, newsletter providers, or ticketing providers (e.g. EU/USA).
Where the level of protection is not deemed adequate, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g. contractual guarantees and
technical/organizational measures).
